Top 10 Exercises To Keep You Pain & Injury Free – Part 1

I want to share with you my top 10 exercises to keep you injury & pain free for 2010!  The first exercise I am going to share you in part 1 could stop you from turning into the hunchback of Notre Dame!

Now in my book that is a plus!  It strengthens and rehabilitates the external rotators of the shoulder joint, it will improve your upper body posture and prevent injury. Most people NEVER train these muscles, if they do they are either trained incorrectly (poor technique), or as a direct result of a shoulder injury. If you only train your shoulders in pushing/pulling movements and side/front/rear arm raises you are at risk of a rotator cuff injury (this is about 95% of the active population!).

It's all very well in the week. We have a routine nailed down, we know what time we wake up, what time we train, when we need to be at work, when the kids need picking up or the dogs need walking... everything seems to run like clock work. What type of cardio is best for fat loss & is there anything better?

Hi Chris,

I just read an article in a fitness magazine that said all you need to lose fat is three days a week of cardio for twenty minutes. It said that low intensity, long duration cardio workouts are not the best way to lose fat and that a high intensity twenty-minute workout is more efficient. Is this true? I don't have a lot of time to work out so it would be great if I could get my cardio done in only twenty minutes.
